One of the things that sets Jessica White Travel apart is our affiliation with Brownell Travel, the oldest travel agency in the US, and still one of the most prestigious and well-regarded travel companies in our industry.
Earlier this month, we had the pleasure of attending an incredible multi-day training and networking event hosted by Brownell in beautiful (and a little chilly!) Chicago at the Four Seasons.
It was a fast-paced few days with a schedule full of learning, collaborating, and growing as travel professionals - and we are honored to share we won two awards!
I'm thrilled to provide you with a glimpse "behind the curtain" in the travel biz - and how we can continue to elevate your travel with each trip.

Forging Relationships That Benefit Our Clients
We are all about relationships. We rely on our on-the-ground local partner and hoteliers to make our clients' journeys exceptional and always strive to have strong relationships with our clients as their trusted travel advisor.
We met with hotels, cruise lines, and tour operators across the globe to discuss new trends, share information, and brainstorm ideas of how we can all improve.
A few highlights? Sitting down with Perfetto Traveler, one of our favorite Italy experts, to discover new hotel openings and off-the-beaten-path destinations for 2025. We also had a fantastic conversation with Africa Inscribed, diving into unique and unforgettable safari experiences (if a safari is on your list, I’d love to help you plan it!).

Being Recognized for the Core Value of Integrity
We are honored to share that we received two recognitions at our gala event.
The most meaningful and humbling was being awarded for best exemplifying one of Brownell’s core values: Integrity.
This means so much to us since doing what is right is always front and center, and integrity is a value we hold close in every stage of trip planning.
We also were honored to receive for the second year in a row Brownell’s prestigious 1887 Award, presented to advisors who exceed $2.5 million in travel sales in a year.

Giving Back by Raising $70,000!
More important than awards, we are happy to have been part of a charitable initiative with A&K Philanthropy to support Project C.U.R.E., a project that provides much-needed medical equipment and healthcare supplies to underserved communities in Uganda.
Together we raised over $70,000 — almost double our initial goal and enough to fund two full shipping containers of critical aid supplies.
We also assembled over 400 Kits for Kids, full of essential personal care items for children and families. It was a beautiful reminder that, as we travel the globe, it’s our privilege and responsibility to give back to the communities we explore. Thank you to anyone who contributed to the initiative!
