For my fifth birthday, my grandfather gave me a globe. It was my favorite gift I have ever received, and ever since then I have been fascinated with geography, other cultures and foods, and exploring the many beautiful places around the world. After living as a Peace Corps volunteer in South Africa and studying abroad in Spain, I have always always made it my mission to immerse myself in the culture wherever I go.

I now live in Richmond, Virginia with my husband, Matthew, and two sons, Oliver and Theo. When I am not traveling or planning travel, you can find me at the latest local restaurant, at the yoga studio, or on a neighborhood walk with my family.
